CASITA OLIVA
A quaint home nestled in the heart of wine country, set in an open field surrounded by olive ranches. Casita Oliva is a peaceful connection to nature and a true sense of calm. The perfect setting to unplug, unwind, and enjoy the finest Mexican wines.
Warm lamps softly hum,
Golden corners hold the night
Home breathes, safe and slow.
Glass of red in hand,
Wind moves through the olive groves
Nature pours the rest.
Why Oliva?
Beside Olibaja, an olive oil mill in El Porvenir, La Casita is framed by olive trees and filled with the golden oil that naturally finds its way to our table.

The name Oliva carries deeper meaning. It honors two beloved family angels, my Tía Olivia, the heart of our family who made everyone feel at home, and my cousin Olvia, remembered for her gentle, playful spirit.

Naming our home Oliva felt effortless, as if the land, the memories, and the love were always meant to meet here.
Quiet field at dusk,
Wine breathes with the evening air,
Earth holds us gently.
Trust the process
Building a house in Baja came with a steep learning curve. While I designed the layout and initial renders, the house slowly revealed its own organic form. There were moments of trust and missteps, hiring and letting go, projects that succeeded and others that didn’t.
I became my own project manager. Learned about sustainability, off-grid building, and the reality of bringing a vision to life. Working with people who loved their craft and others who simply did the job.
There is still work ahead, perhaps always- but these are our humble beginnings. I’m grateful for what this place has taught me and ready to share it with another brave soul chasing a Baja dream.
Designed by Nature
It felt natural to develop a visual identity. Every hue and curve in Casita Oliva’s branding is pulled from its surroundings bringing the logo, color palette, and ad design back to the land that inspired it.
I’m deeply grateful for the opportunity to work on this project. I ask God to grant me the discipline to care for what has been entrusted to me, and the wisdom to grow it, multiply it, and honor it with intention and grace.
